クボタタケシ

クボタタケシは、東京生まれのフリーランスDJ、サウンド・クリエイター。

90年代から現在まで一定のスタンスで活動を続けている。クボタの登場以降、一般的となった『オールジャンル・ミックス』と形容される選曲スタイルはジャンルレス、タイムレス、かつボーダーレス、もっと言えばホームレスな何にも属さない音楽の選択であり、さながらリズムの見本市のようだ(時にドラムレスだったり)。

無類のヴァイナル好きだが、レア盤と称されるレコード・コレクター間の価値基準にも一切とらわれない、『クボタタケシ』という名前そのものがワード、ジャンル、カテゴリーの１つとして認識されるほどオリジナルな存在である。

特定のジャンルに特化したスペシャリストではないが、多種多様さは群を抜いており、そのプレイリストは専門誌を始め、同業者、フォロワー、全国のレコードストア等によって分析・研究・検索され、今日では多方面に知れ渡っている。

しかし、まるでその行為自体が無意味であるかのように自身の選盤感覚のみによって集められたレコードを日々プレイし続けている。クボタは公式、非公式にその印象的な選曲と個性的なミックスを収録した作品を幾つかのタイトルに分けて発表している。

CHIDA
(Ene/Mascaras)

1992年より東京をベースに活動を続けるDJ/プロデューサー。

2009年に立ち上げた自身のレーベル"Ene”からは、これまでに国内外のアーティストの作品20タイトル(12”アナログ)をリリースし、現在も数タイトルの12"アナログのリリース進行中。

2011年頃からは音楽制作も開始。2013年には5ive(Cos/Mes)とのDJ/プロデュース・ユニットMascarasを結成し、レーベルFuniki Eneも立ち上げる。CHIDA、MASCARASとして、これまでに様々なレーベルから多数の12”/Digital EP, Remixをリリースし続け、世界中のDJやコアなリスナー、ダンスフロアから高い評価を得ている。

また、2012年にUKのMinistry of SoundからリリースされたAndrew Weatherallのミックス/コンピレーション「Masterpiece」に自身のキャリア初となる楽曲「Danca」(ESP Institute 2011)が収録されたのをきっかけに海外へも定期的に出向くようになり、ヨーロッパを中心にアジア、アメリカでのツアーを続けてきた。

2015年以降は、聖地とされるベルリンのBerghain/Panorama BarやDiscodromoがオーガナイズするCockTail d'Amoreへ定期的に出演する他、国内では12時間越えのセットやゲストDJ陣に定評のあるパーティーDANCAHOLIC at 青山Zeroを中心に活動を続けている。

Revered after more than 20 years as one of the most respected DJs in Tokyo, Chida is front and centre in the exciting new wave of House and Techno DJs who are now finding fame around the world.

Since 2009 Chida has been running his label “Ene”, one of the most respected underground imprints amongst true house music aficionados, boasting a list of contributors including Prins Thomas, Eddie C, Man Power, Tiago, Lord of The Isles and homegrown Japanese talent such as PSYCHOGEM x Cro-Magnon, The Backwoods, Cos/Mes, Sly Mongoose and J.A.K.A.M..

Finally, after so much anticipation following his much sought after debut 12”, Danca, on ESP Institute, Chida is finally about to release more music, with originals and remixes due on both his own label, and several others.

Respected and even, on occasion, name-dropped by such amazing DJs as Eric “Dr Dunks” Duncan, Idjut Boys, Prins Thomas, Justin Vandervolgan, Andrew Weatherall , Soft Rocks, Discodromo and a whole load more, Chida is truly a DJ’s DJ.

In this modern time where music production all to often takes precedence over true DJing craftsmanship, Chida remains that rarest of phenomena, a performer who has managed to carve out a global DJIng schedule purely from the merits of his sheer skill behind the decks.

MUTO

神戸生まれ。2011年にシンガポールに移住し、DJおよびトラックメイクを行なっている。

当地でハウス・テクノに特化したクラブHeadquartersにてレギュラーで出演する傍ら、隔月でポップアップイベントを開催するコレクティブIce Cream SundaysにてレジデントDJを務める。

ハウス、ディスコ、EBM、ダークディスコ、スローモーなどを織り交ぜたセットを展開し、オブスキュアかつオルタナティブなダンスミュージックを追求している。

2021年にインドネシアのアーティスト、Jonathan Kusumaが主催するレーベルDekadenzよりEP「Ishi」をリリース。
その他リトアニアのレーベルWhy People Danceおよび香港のレーベルFufu Recordsのコンピレーションに楽曲を提供している。

Muto is a Singapore based selector/music producer, hailing from Kobe, Japan.

He is taking a regular DJ role at one of the iconic underground night clubs in Singapore, Headquarters, and yet he is a resident DJ at a local music collective named Ice Cream Sundays, that organizes series of pop-up events at various unique locations.

Muto’s selection spans from house, disco slo-mo to EBM dark-disco, with the aim of brewing obscure/alternative tastes through the sets.

In 2021, Muto released an EP titled ‘Ishi’ from an Indonesian label Dekadenz, that is run by an Indonesian selector/producer, Jonathan Kusuma.

Muto also joined compilations by Whypeopledance from Lithuania, as well as FuFu Records from Hongkong.

V_R_A_P
(Bonne Nuit/ Fauve radio)

フランス出身。香港のアンダーグランドシーンで活躍し、ジャズ、ディスコ、バレアリック、ファンク、アシッド、テクノ、90年代ハウスを織り交ぜたミックスで人々を魅了するDJとして活躍の場を広げる。

日本に移住後は、Womb、Vent、Counter Club、Oath、Redbar、 The Roomなど東京のメジャーシーンでのデビューを果たし、現在は世界各国のD Jから形成されるFauve Radioのメンバーとしても活躍中。

さらに野外フェスBONNE NUITではオーガナイザーを務める。

After blooming in the Hong Kong underground scene, the French DJ V_R_A_P recently moved to Japan.

He already had the chance to play in major Tokyo venues such as Womb, Vent, CounterClub, Oath, Redbar, TheRoom…

V_R_A_P is also part of the international Fauve Radio crew and organizer of an intimate outdoor festival called BONNE NUIT.

As a DJ his gig are melting vibrant and eclectic vinyl only selection from Jazz, Disco, Balearic, Funk to Acid, Techno and 90’s House.

DJ Key-Roy

アメリカ生まれ。

9歳までアメリカで育ち、東京に移住。
バックパッカーで海外旅行を繰り返し、タイ、ラオス、インド、トルコ、ブラジル、ジャマイカを訪問。

高校時代にバンドでグランジやミクスチャーロックのカバー曲を歌い始め、大学時代よりMC・DJの活動を開始。

2011年より男女混声ヒップホップグループ RAP BRAINSのMCとして活動し、2018年よりDJとしての活動を再開。

ブラジルやアフリカを中心としたワールドミュージック、ダウンテンポやヒップホップ・レゲエなどを織り交ぜたセットを展開し、チルでオーガニックなダンスミュージックを追求している。

定期的にSoundCloudにてmixをリリース中。

三軒茶屋にて不定期開催するオールジャンルなグッドミュージックをお届けするイベント re:SessionのレジデントDJを務める。

Born in the United States.

Grew up in the United States until nine, and moved to Tokyo.

Traveled abroad repeatedly as a backpacker, visiting Thailand, Laos, India, Turkey, Brazil and Jamaica.

Started singing Grunge and Mixture Rock cover songs in a band in high school, and started MC / DJ ing in college.

Since 2011, started MC for hip-hop group called RAP BRAINS , and restarted DJ since 2018.

Develops a set that mixes world music mainly from Brazil and Africa, Downtempo and Hip Hop, Reggae, and pursues chill and organic dance music.

Regularly releases mixes on SoundCloud.

Resident DJ of party “re: Session” which delivers all kind of good music at Sangenjaya.
